Who can join?
Anyone over the age of 16 who is enthusiastic, friendly, hardworking and enjoys being part of a team. No previous experience necessary. There will be a full induction as well as training to make sure you’re fully comfortable in your role.
Why volunteer?
Volunteering in our charity shop is a great way to have fun, learn new skills, meet people and make a real difference to both local and international charities.

What will I do?
We have several volunteering opportunities available
Shop floor: 4 hours weekly. Age 16 and over
Interact with customers, taking payments and providing good all-round customer service
Sort through donated items and price stock
Work on window and shop displays
Keep the shop tidy, clean and well organise
Sorting out of season stock: 2 hours weekly Age 16 and over
You will be working in the basement with at least one other person sorting out of season stock into categories and sizes and storing them safely in designated areas.
Online/ebay sales: Age 18 and over
You would be responsible for posting donated items to be sold on ebay or other online forums ,monitoring the results and packing and sending if sold.
Collection and Delivery: Age 18 and over with a full driving licence and access to a car/van.
You would pick up donations from customers and deliver larger sold items to customers who do not have access to transport.
